Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2022 with Digital Boost

We’re delighted to be teaming up with Digital Boost to spread awareness about the importance of digital accessibility, for Global Accessibility Awareness Day on the 19th of May.

Free Digital Accessibility Mini-Festival

Digital Accessibility is absolutely crucial for 1 in 4 New Zealanders with access needs and disabilities to access the goods, services and information that they need online. And what's more, ensuring online accessibility also helps New Zealand businesses to tap into a larger market represented by the access customer. With digital accessibility, everyone wins!

Many businesses want to improve accessibility, but just don't know where to start. So in collaboration with Digital Boost, we have put together two webinars and a podcast explaining the "why" and "how" of online accessibility, specially tailored for those starting out on their accessibility journey.

How to watch

View the upcoming webinars on the Digital Boost Facebook or LinkedIn pages, or Youtube channel. (Videos stream live on Tuesday 3rd May and Tuesday 10th May at 10 am but can be accessed any time after those dates).

And head to digitalboost.business.govt.nz - it's free to sign up and get access to their awesome resources on all things digital.

Once you've signed up for Digital Boost, make sure to check out our digital accessibility podcast via the Digital Boost App! You can also find the podcast on Apple Podcasts here, or on Spotify here.
